Mat-Su Health Services, Inc. is proud to offer affordable medical care and behavioral health services at our Wasilla and Big Lake, AK clinics. As a Federally Qualified Health Center in Alaska, we accept Medicare and Medicaid, as well as most other third party insurances. 


No patient who visits a Mat-Su Health Services Clinic will be denied care due to the inability to pay. For
uninsured and underinsured patients, we offer a sliding discount based on family income and size.

Mat-Su Health Services offers an integrated medical and behavioral health program. 


Our provider team
is composed of renowned doctors, dentists, licensed counselors and therapists, psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants. 


Our family medicine program
provides primary care, including well-child visits, immunizations, annual physicals, minor procedures, and management of chronic disease for people of all ages. 


Mat-Su Health Services participates in
Alaska’s Ladies First program, allowing us to provide free cervical cancer screenings and mammograms to qualified Alaska residents. Our women’s health program also provides diagnostic testing, STD and STI screening, birth control, pelvic exams, and clinical breast exams. We are happy to provide referrals to our patients who need mammograms or obstetrical services.


Our behavioral health services
provide crisis intervention, counseling services and therapy, psychiatric evaluation, and psychosocial rehabilitation. We also help patients manage their medications, and can provide referrals to rehabilitation programs for patients suffering from drug or alcohol problems. New behavioral health patients can typically be scheduled for a same-day appointment. 


Dental care
with Mat-Su Health Services covers a range of services, including comprehensive dental exams, dental cleanings, emergency dental services, dental x-rays, restorative dentistry, extractions and dentures. Our dental care providers are also able to provide referrals for in-depth dental work like orthodontics, periodontics, root canals and prosthetics. 


All of our healthcare programs accept Medicare and Medicaid.
